Addressing the energy impact of magnets on refrigerators, Şeker said, “The magnetic field created by magnets on a refrigerator does not affect the device's operating principle. This is because the power of a refrigerator is between 500-1000 Watts, while the power of a magnet is near zero. Additionally, if the magnet is direct current, its frequency is zero. The devices operate at 50 hertz.”

NO MEASURABLE EFFECT ON ENERGY CONSUMPTION

Stating that the presence or number of magnets cannot change a refrigerator's energy consumption in a measurable way, Şeker added, “Because the energy they create is too small to be measured. There is no scientific research or test conducted on this subject.”

Noting that there is no known mechanism in electrical engineering or physics suggesting that magnetic fields could have an impact on the electricity consumption of devices like refrigerators, Şeker said, “Because a magnet works with direct current, while a refrigerator works with alternating fields. Furthermore, the effect of magnets on the bill is zero.”
