Emotional birthday tribute from İpek Kıraç to her father İnan Kıraç, who is in intensive care

İpek Kıraç, daughter of businesswoman Suna Kıraç, had previously announced that she had reconciled with her father, İnan Kıraç—the son-in-law of the Koç family and founder of Kıraça Holding—with whom she had experienced long-standing family and legal disputes. İpek Kıraç shared a new photo of herself holding hands with her father, İnan Kıraç, who has been admitted to intensive care, in honor of his birthday.

88-year-old İnan Kıraç, the son-in-law of the Koç family and founder of Kıraça Holding, was admitted to intensive care following the progression of his dementia.

A report prepared by the Council of Forensic Medicine noted that Kıraç lacked legal capacity and required the appointment of a guardian; two guardians were subsequently appointed for him. His marriage, which took place at the end of 2024, was also annulled.

Kıraç had recently made headlines for reconciling with his daughter, İpek Kıraç, from whom he had been estranged for years.

Remaining silent for a long time after the court annulled the marriage, İpek Kıraç shared a photo of herself with her father on her social media account, stating, "'Ms. İpek, your father wants to see you.' For a few seconds, I couldn't breathe. I had been living with the dream of that sentence for years. I knocked on his door; his doctors were with him. We locked eyes. I ran to his side. In that first moment we embraced, neither of us could hold back our tears."
