Kenan İmirzalıoğlu's latest episode of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was marked by poignant moments.
Aylin Karakuş, a survivor of the February 6 earthquakes, moved the audience and the host with her story.
The 29-year-old Karakuş said, "I don't want to cry, I always want to smile, I always want to live." Kenan İmirzalıoğlu then hugged Karakuş and cried.
Karakuş, who was trapped under rubble in Hatay and lost her left leg above the knee, also lost her mother and brother in the earthquake.
Karakuş expressed her pain with these words:
"It is something so impossible to cope with. Sudden losses are very difficult. I never once felt sad about my leg. I never said, 'Oh, my leg is gone, what will I do now?' I had my leg until this age and I could walk, but losing my mother and brother destroyed me. My life changed so much after them."
"Sometimes I ask myself how I will reach the age of 30; my brother was 29. It is very hard..."
