Edip Akbayram, one of the unforgettable names in Turkish music, was known for works such as "Aldırma Gönül" and "Güzel Günler Göreceğiz." The first ceremony for the artist, who passed away on March 2 at the hospital where he had been receiving treatment for a long time, was held at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall in Harbiye. Many prominent figures from the worlds of art and politics attended the ceremony. Following the funeral prayer held at Teşvikiye Mosque, Edip Akbayram was laid to rest at the Üsküdar Karacaahmet Cemetery.
