Engin Günaydın's 'Cells' premieres: 'I have been working on this project for 20 years'

Produced by BKM and with Nisan Ceren Özerten as the creative producer, the play features a cast including Engin Günaydın, Cengiz Bozkurt, Şinasi Yurtsever, Nilperi Şahinkaya, Kubilay Aka, Deniz Cengiz, and Gökçen Gökçebağ.
The play, which conveys the lives of cells in the human body through a fantastic and surreal comedic language, brings to the stage the reactions of the cells in the body of a character named "Nejat" in the face of the adversities he experiences.
'DREAMING IS BEAUTIFUL'
Making statements at the end of the performance, Engin Günaydın expressed that he had realized a 20-year-old dream, saying, "I have been working on this project for 20 years. Dreaming is beautiful, seeing it come to life is even more beautiful. It was a very happy day for me."
The play will meet theatergoers at Maximum Uniq Hall on January 21, 28, and 29.
