American actor Giancarlo Esposito, a master of Hollywood who was announced to have converted to Islam during the filming of the movie "7 Dogs" by Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, explained the reasons for his conversion to Islam in a statement made in Morocco.

Esposito spoke as follows:

My life has completely changed. The devotion of the people in Morocco to religion and to God impressed me greatly.

Coming to a country where people are religious affects me deeply. The first thing I did was to visit a mosque.

Expressing that the people of Morocco have given him a different perspective, the veteran actor noted the following:

In your country, Muhammad is everything. The same applies to me. I feel the same emotions in a country dedicated to goodness, grace, and the energy of God. That is why my life has changed. Understanding how a different culture worships, lives, and makes films is very important for my development as a human being."
