An explosion occurred in the indoor parking garage of a building in Nussbaumen, in the Swiss canton of Aargau, during the evening hours, followed by a fire.
Police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Residents of the building were evacuated, causing great panic. The fire spread to other floors in a short time.
According to a statement from the police, 2 people lost their lives and 11 people were injured in the explosion.
