İlker Ayrık, who went to Dubai for a theater play, was among those affected by the cancellations. Making a statement on his social media account, Ayrık stated that both he and his family are in good health. Ayrık, who went to Dubai on February 27 with his team to perform the play "Bir Baba Hamlet," said in his post, "My family is with me too. The children are missing a bit of school. I hope their teachers won't mind."

According to the report in ZamHaber, Şevket Çoruh, known for his role as Commissioner Mesut in the series "Arka Sokaklar," is also stranded in Dubai. There has been no official statement yet from the actor, who is alleged to be unable to return to Turkey due to the flight cancellations.
