Expressing her feelings ahead of International Women's Day on March 8, Güner said, "A strong woman is the woman herself; it is her simple state of being. In my opinion, a woman is power itself by her very existence."

"As a result of masculine idioms and adjectives that have extended from the past to the present, attempting to diminish and suppress women, we have had to develop counter-defining adjectives. Yet, a woman is already a strong, combative, resilient, productive, creative, beautifying being capable of achieving anything.
It has always been this way, actually; she didn't need any adjectives, her creation was like this. When I look at the women I have portrayed, that is why they are all strong in their own way. As women who read, research, know, learn, nurture, develop, multiply, struggle, and never give up, we have always been strong, and we always will be!"
'MARRY YOUR BEST FRIEND'
Aslıhan Güner, who crowned her happy relationship with fellow actor Mert Kılıç by marrying in 2013, said the following regarding the secrets of a long and happy marriage:
"First of all; marry your best friend! I am going to write this as a sticker on walls and sign my name under it! Let your spouse be your best friend so that your whole life is a partner who you trust, with whom you can chat for hours, who is a companion on your path, who is always by your side, behind you, in front of you, a partner in all your emotions, a spouse for your life.
