Bush, who rose to fame after starring in the beloved 2000s series One Tree Hill and has since made a name for herself in many productions, expressed that she is queer.
Writing an article for a magazine, Bush described the disagreements and difficulties she experienced with Grant Hughes, whom she married in 2022, stating that the marriage was a mistake and that she decided to completely change her life.

Bush also stated that she is in a relationship with 38-year-old former US soccer player Ashlyn Harris.
Harris announced Bush's statement on social media, saying, "I am proud of you, baby."
