It has been announced that Mexican actress and voice artist Ana Ofelia Murguia, known for her performance in the Oscar-winning animated film 'Coco', has passed away.
The cause of death for the 90-year-old actress, who took on more than 100 roles in cinema, television, and on stage, was not specified.
CONDOLENCE MESSAGES CONVEYED
In a statement made by the Mexican National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature, condolence messages were also conveyed to the famous actress's relatives.
Born in 1933, Murguia had become widely recognized for her performance in Coco.
Coco was awarded in the categories of Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for the song 'Remember Me'.
