Director Jeff Burr, who put his signature on many horror films ranging from 'Puppet Master' to 'From A Whisper to A Scream', has passed away at the age of 60.
The sad news was announced by Jeff Burr's close friend Eric Spudic. In a statement to 'The Hollywood Reporter', Spudic stated that the famous filmmaker passed away in his sleep.
Eric Spudic also noted that Burr died in Dalton, the county seat of Whitfield County in the U.S. state of Georgia.
'I WANT TO MAKE ALL KINDS OF FILMS'
On the other hand, in an interview he gave in 2018, Jeff Burr said, "I love horror films, I love genre films, but those aren't the only kinds of films I want to make. I'm a film lover and I want to make all kinds of films, but in the mainstream Hollywood world, filmmakers are often typecast just like actors."
