Famous Yeşilçam producer Arif Keskiner has passed away
Arif Keskiner, the producer of many films that left their mark on cinema history, including 'Kapıcılar Kralı', 'Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım', and 'Parayla Değil Sırayla', has passed away.

Master producer Arif Keskiner has passed away at the age of 86.
Almula Merter announced the sad news with the following words:

WHO IS ARIF KESKİNER?
He was born in 1938 in the Osmaniye district of Adana. He completed his primary and secondary education in Osmaniye. He graduated from Istanbul Sultanahmet Commercial High School, and subsequently from the Istanbul Higher School of Economics and Commerce.
After his military service, he worked with his friend Yılmaz Güney for a while before serving as the manager of Ağaoğlu Publishing for four years. Later, he worked in bookselling, sports journalism, and as a reporter and dishwasher in Sweden. After returning to Turkey, he undertook the production, screenwriting, and directing of nearly fifty photo-novels.
During the same period, he began working in the film industry. He produced films such as "Otobüs", "Kapıcılar Kralı", "Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım", "Maden", "Köşeyi Dönen Adam", and "Piyano Piyano Bacaksız". He participated in the screenwriting of the films "Yılanı Öldürseler" and "Piyano Piyano Bacaksız". He created the first three-part series for TRT based on the life story of Halit Çapın titled "Bay Alkolü Takdimimdir". He then produced the five-part series "Bizi Güldürenler".
Later, in his office in Sıraselviler, he opened the Cinema Lovers Association Club, which everyone called Çiçek Bar or Arif's Place, and which became a frequent destination for all filmmakers and artists.
Arif Keskiner passed away on March 12, 2024.
