In his statement, manager Mert Siliv noted, "We have lost my dear friend of 20 years and the very precious artist Fatih Ürek, whom I also managed, after a difficult process lasting four and a half months."
HE BEQUEATHED A SCHOOL IN HIS OWN NAME
Fatih Ürek's words regarding his will have come to the agenda again with his statements on a television program he attended two years ago.
Responding sincerely to the question "Have you written your will?" directed at him on the program, Ürek had expressed his greatest desire in life with these words:
Actually, I wrote it somewhere, I think it's sitting somewhere, but something changes every year. I want a foundation in my own name. Let there be a charity. The thing I want most in my life is to have a school built in my name. I want it to be a school. We need our schools. I cry when I see children.
"THERE WERE PEOPLE WHO BROKE MY HEART"
On the same program, Ürek was also asked the question, "Are there people you would not want to come to your grave if something happened to me?"
The famous artist gave an emotional response to this question:
I could say so. Not from the industry, I don't even count the industry. There are many people who broke my heart. Not from the industry, but they broke my heart a lot. Because I am naive to the point of stupidity.
