Fearing for his safety: Prosecutor's office launches investigation into Teoman's obsessed fan

Famous singer Teoman has filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office against a fan, A.A., who has been constantly harassing him on social media and also discovered his home address.

According to a report by Sabah, the criminal complaint submitted to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office states that the individual named A.A. was posting messages about Teoman on social media that reached the level of harassment.

The obsessed listener had previously threatened Teoman by referring to his driver, saying, "Rein in Serkan Koç, or else you'll see."

A.A., who also made baseless claims and sexually explicit statements regarding the famous singer, said in a statement to the court despite a protection order against them: "Your Honor, it is very obvious that this person is trying to make me fall in love with him. Will you be my witness at the wedding?"

WAITING AT MARKETS AND GROCERY STORES

In the complaint petition, Teoman's lawyer stated that A.A. waits at markets and grocery stores in the area where the famous singer lives in order to see him, noting that the individual is in a state of mind that is more obsessive than fanatical: "The suspect has persistently and systematically disturbed the peace and tranquility of my client. This behavior by A.A., who persistently follows my client, has reached the level of harassment.

My client lives in constant fear of encountering A.A. whenever he goes out. My client, who has developed the thought that he is being constantly watched, is seriously concerned for his safety. For this reason, we are filing a complaint against them," the statement read.
