Ferdi Tayfur's will announced, daughter Tuğçe Tayfur objects! 'You've ended up in court'

Legendary arabesque music icon Ferdi Tayfur passed away on January 2, 2025, due to liver and kidney failure. Ferdi Tayfur, whose death left his fans in mourning, was laid to rest on January 4.

HIS WILL ANNOUNCED

The will of Ferdi Tayfur, whose 40th day since his passing will be on February 12, has emerged. Şirin Gözalıcı, who was both the master artist's nephew and press advisor, shared Tayfur's will on his social media account.

According to Gözalıcı's post, Tayfur's will is as follows:

"The will prepared by our family's pillar, our dear father, was announced today. Actually, he had wanted to share this announcement with his loved ones himself, but unfortunately, his life was not long enough. This honorable duty fell to us. Our father had shown his love and loyalty to his people once again by donating a portion of the assets he acquired through the strength and love given by our people to the Turkish Armed Forces, the Darüşşafaka Foundation, and LÖSEV. As his family, we are infinitely proud of our father. May he rest in peace."

TUĞÇE TAYFUR'S NAME WAS NOT MENTIONED

While the signature section of the document included the names of Ferdi Tayfur's legal wife Zeliha Tayfur, his daughters Tuğba Dınız and Funda Doğrul, and Tayfur's youngest child Ferdi Taha Tayfur, the names of Tuğçe Tayfur and Timur Tayfur were not mentioned.

Following the announcement of the will, Tuğçe Tayfur broke her silence.

Sharing a photo with her brother Timur Turanbayburt, Tayfur added the following note to her post:

"As long as I live, I am by your side, brother Timur Turanbayburt. Don't you worry at all. When he donated his kidney to my father, my cousin Cumali and I were by his side; those 'nephews' or others were not there! We know our father; if there had been a will under his own control, he would have left all his assets to institutions. May God bless his resting place. But don't you forget this; THOSE WHO APPEAR TO BE THE MAJORITY ARE NOT RIGHT AGAINST THOSE WHO APPEAR TO BE THE MINORITY. THIS IS ENTIRELY A RELATIONSHIP OF INTEREST. We did not expect you to rush to request a certificate of inheritance just 4 days after his passing, before our tears had even dried. You've ended up in court before even the 40th day! Shame on all of you. You cannot hide what you have transferred to yourselves by putting institutions at the forefront. They have transferred the island, the company, the copyrights, the real estate, everything there is to Nilüfer and Şirin Gözalıcı and irrelevant 3rd party relatives, and yet they shamelessly advertise the donations made to institutions by my father. I won't say anything more, but I will not let this matter go! I am handing you over to Turkish justice. Whether it takes 1 year or 10 years.
