'Fire of Anatolia' completes Colombia tour

Performing its final show in the capital Bogota as part of its Colombia tour, 'Fire of Anatolia' received full marks from art lovers.

The dance troupe Fire of Anatolia, under the General Artistic Direction of Mustafa Erdoğan, held its final show at the Astor Plaza Theater in Bogota following its performance in Medellin.

During the finale of the show, the projection of the national flags of Turkey and Colombia together on the screen drew applause from the audience.

Turkey's Ambassador to Bogota, Beste Pehlivan Sun, who attended the show, told an AA reporter that they were happy to see Fire of Anatolia in Colombia for the first time.

Pointing out that Colombian art lovers filled the hall, Sun stated, "Fire of Anatolia makes a significant contribution to the promotion of our country's culture. We have no doubt that they will leave a positive impression here; I wish them success."

Audience member Jessica Calderon expressed that she found the Fire of Anatolia show "colorful and magnificent," adding, "It was an incredible experience; I have always wanted to see this show. Although I lived in Turkey for a few years, I couldn't go despite wanting to very much. I am very happy that it is in Colombia. It reminded me of many memories from Turkey. I especially liked the mix of traditional and contemporary."

'A SHOW REFLECTING HISTORICAL PERIODS'

Colombian art lover Leonardo Garzon also explained that he liked the show very much, saying, "We watched a show that reflects excerpts from many regions of Turkey and historical periods. We saw a wonderful performance."

Audience member Gina Valencia noted that she was "extremely" happy to watch the Fire of Anatolia Dance Troupe in Colombia.
