In an examination conducted on Şeyma Subaşı, who was released under judicial control as part of a drug investigation, it was determined that she had used cocaine. The analyses detected not only cocaine in Subaşı’s system but also its metabolites, benzoylecgonine and methylecgonine, as well as ketamine.
Following the revelation of the test results, Subaşı made a statement on her social media account, expressing that she is aware of the process she is going through.

In her post, Subaşı included the following statements:
"I am aware that the rhythm of my destiny and my life is a result of my choices, and that everything I have experienced, learned, and done along the way are my own choices. I take full responsibility for my life and my personal development.”
Describing the process she is in as a period of transformation, Subaşı continued her statement with these words:
“I am going through, have gone through, and will continue to go through a sincere process of repentance. I am in a major period where I am making real decisions regarding myself and my future. My focus now and always is my health, my daughter, and living with more awareness, faith, and responsibility. It was always like this anyway, but of course, we are living the destiny we are meant to live. There is a silver lining in every misfortune. I am responsible for everything I have done, but from now on, I choose to continue on my path quietly, honestly, and with respect.”
