In a statement issued by state authorities, it was reported that 4 members of a family, including an 8-month-old baby, lost their lives after their house collapsed due to a landslide in the Barra do Pirai region.

MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE LEFT HOMELESS

It was stated that more than 100 people have been left homeless across the state, where a total of 8 people have died.

In the city of Mendes, it was announced that a 6-year-old child is missing.

It has been learned that fire and police teams have not yet been able to reach some of the heavily damaged areas.
