Found in Çorum: Owl chick under protection
An owl chick found in a forested area in the Kargı district of Çorum has been taken under protection. After undergoing a health check, the owl will be released back into its natural habitat once suitable conditions are met.

Forest Protection teams from the Kirazbaşı Forest Management Chiefdom, affiliated with the Kargı Forest Management Directorate, spotted the owl chick while conducting a patrol in a forested area.
After observing the chick for a while and seeing that its mother was not around, the teams took the owl from where it was found and delivered it to the Branch Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
It was reported that after the owl undergoes a health check, it will be released into its natural habitat once suitable conditions are provided.
