Funeral arrangements for Türker İnanoğlu announced

Renowned producer, director, and entrepreneur Türker İnanoğlu has passed away at the age of 88 in the hospital where he was receiving treatment. The funeral arrangements for İnanoğlu have been announced.

Producer Türker İnanoğlu, who passed away at the age of 88 in the hospital where he was being treated, will be laid to rest tomorrow.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ANNOUNCED

A ceremony will be held for Türker İnanoğlu in Istanbul on Thursday, April 4, at 10:00 AM at the TIM Show Center. Following this, a funeral prayer will be held at the Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque after the noon prayer.

İnanoğlu, who produced significant films in Turkish cinema, will be buried in the family cemetery in Kanlıca following the funeral prayer.

WHO IS TÜRKER İNANOĞLU?

Turkish film director, producer, screenwriter, and businessman Türker İnanoğlu was born on May 18, 1936, in Safranbolu. He entered the film industry as an assistant director in 1957 while he was a student at the School of Applied Fine Arts.

He worked with famous directors such as Lütfi Ömer Akad and Nişan Hançer. He began his directing career in 1960 with the film "Köyde Bir Kız Sevdim" (I Loved a Girl in the Village).

In 1960, he founded his own film company, Erler Film. He established the Ulusal Video company in 1979 and a television studio in 1985.

He produced numerous television programs. He was also the owner of the Atlas Cinema in Beyoğlu, the Kent Cinema in Şişli, and the Boğaziçi Cinemas in Kavacık. In 2005, he opened the TIM (Türker İnanoğlu Maslak Show Center) in Maslak, Istanbul.
