The first teaser has been released for the series 'Ironheart', which sets out with the slogan 'Every dream has a price,' features 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' director Ryan Coogler as an executive producer, and will take viewers to the events following that film.
The 6-episode series, produced by Marvel Television, will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+ starting June 25 with its first 3 episodes.
'But everyone who has achieved something iconic in life has had to do controversial things. What will you do, Riri?' Riri Williams, a brilliant MIT student, creates her own high-tech armor inspired by Tony Stark's legacy.
Struggling with the challenges of being a young, Black woman in a male-dominated field, Riri faces a dangerous technological threat that forces her to step into the role of a hero.
With the weight of Stark's legacy on her shoulders, she must decide whether she is ready to embrace her potential as Ironheart and take part in this journey of power, even if it ends in prison or death.
The series, produced by Marvel Television, is created by Chinaka Hodge, with film director Ryan Coogler serving as an executive producer this time.
Dominique Thorne, whom we saw as Riri Williams in the film, stars in the series, joined by Anthony Ramos, Alden Ehrenreich, Manny Montana, Zoe Terakes, Lyric Ross, Matthew Elam, and Harper Anthony.
