Ferdi Tayfur, one of the legendary names of Arabesque music, has passed away at the age of 79. A ceremony was held at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) for the master artist, who left us due to multiple organ failure.

17-year-old Ferdi Taha Tayfur experienced emotional moments at his father's coffin. Unable to hold back his tears, Ferdi Taha Tayfur said, "Condolences to Turkey."

MESAM President Recep Ergül, who organized the funeral, stated in his speech at the ceremony, "Our brother Ferdi's son, Ferdi Taha, is very young but very talented. He makes beautiful music. I entrust Ferdi Taha to you.", he said.

Famous artist İbrahim Tatlıses, who was overcome with tears at the ceremony, embraced Ferdi Tayfur's son, Ferdi Taha, to comfort him.

Ferdi Tayfur married Habibe Ümyani Demir in 2009. The couple had a son named Ferdi Taha during their one-year marriage.
