Gül Tut, known as the well-known arabesque music artist Güllü, lost her life on September 26, 2025, after falling from the window of her home in the Çınarcık district of Yalova.
Güllü, who fell from her 6th-floor apartment, was laid to rest by her loved ones and family amidst tears. While the investigation launched following her death continues, allegations regarding Güllü's daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem, have come to the fore.
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
The investigation into Güllü's death was initiated by Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor Duygu Bayar Öksüz. The scope of the investigation has been expanded, and the number of prosecutors assigned to the case has been increased to three. Research into claims that the death is suspicious is ongoing.
Tuğyan Ülkem responded to those who alleged she had a hand in her mother's death. Reacting to the accusations circulating on social media, Ülkem said, "I think these people are merciless and heartless. Because she is my mother. They are smearing us, slandering us, and hurting us. We just want to grieve in peace now; leave us alone."
Stating that she absolutely does not believe the allegations made about her family, Ülkem said, "We were very happy, we had no problems. I will never accept the slanders against me."
REACTION TO MESSAGES AND AUDIO RECORDINGS
Commenting on some messages and audio recordings released recently, Tuğyan Ülkem said, "They are releasing a video or audio recording for their own interests and presenting it as if it were a past event. Who can know whether I reconciled with my mother the next day?"
Ülkem also spoke about what Güllü said to her in a newly released audio recording: "I am sure of myself. I am my mother's daughter, and I do not accept any of these slanders."
Responding to Bircan Dülger's claims that they made eye contact at the funeral and that a conversation took place where she said, "Sister, I did it, I am very sorry," Tuğyan Ülkem said, "Such a conversation never took place. It is impossible for such a conversation to happen in such an environment. I do not accept this slander."
