Heavy rainfall warning for the Aegean region

According to forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the showers and thunderstorms expected in the Aegean region tomorrow are predicted to be heavy (21-50 kg/m2) in the vicinity of İzmir, Manisa, Denizli, Uşak, and Kütahya, and locally very heavy (51-75 kg/m2) in the vicinity of Aydın, the inland parts of İzmir, and the southern parts of Manisa.

The heavy rainfall will lose its effect during the night hours.

Caution and measures should be taken against negative conditions such as flash floods, inundation, lightning, sudden strong winds, short-term storms, and disruptions in transportation.
