The champion of MasterChef Türkiye 2025 has been announced!

The countdown for the final stage of MasterChef 2025, broadcast on TV8 and featuring Mehmet Yalçınkaya, Danilo Zanna, and Somer Sivrioğlu on the jury panel, gave way to great enthusiasm.

After long and exhausting stages, Çağatay, Sezer, Özkan, and Hakan managed to remain in the final four of the competition. The two contestants who competed in the live broadcast final were Özkan and Sezer, respectively.

FIRST ROUND: TURKISH CUISINE MENU

Özkan and Sezer, who faced off in the live broadcast final, first prepared a menu interpreting Turkish cuisine.

The dishes in Özkan's Turkish cuisine menu were:

Appetizer: Egeden (From the Aegean)

Main course: Antika (Antique)

Dessert: Sahlep-i Sütlaç (Sahlep Rice Pudding)

Sezer's dishes in the Turkish cuisine menu were as follows:

Appetizer: Çiğ Köfte

Main course: Büyük İskender (Grand Alexander)

Dessert: Nuh’un Tartini (Noah's Tart)

At the end of the first round, both contestants received a total of 21 points each from the chefs.

SECOND ROUND: INTERNATIONAL CUISINE

In the second round, Özkan and Sezer presented their menus inspired by international cuisine.

The dishes prepared within the allotted time were as follows:

At the end of this round, Özkan increased his total score to 43, while Sezer reached 41 points.

THE LIVE FINAL BROADCAST HAS BEGUN

Özkan expressed his feelings by saying, "I am very happy. I have goosebumps, my whole family is here. I am very proud, we will make our final dish today."

Sezer stated that he had not felt any excitement until arriving at the final stage, but that seeing his family in the studio was a great honor for him.

Özkan received 20.5 points for his final dish, bringing his total score to 63.5.

Sezer received 24 points for his pumpkin-themed dish, reaching a total of 65 points.

Thus, the MasterChef 2025 champion became Sezer Dirican.

"WE ARE IN A PERFECT FAMILY"

Sezer shared his happiness by saying, "I don't remember how many months it has been. We have been in a perfect family since the first day we came here. We fought hard, I am very happy."

Özkan congratulated his opponent, saying, "There are two champions and one trophy here. I congratulate Sezer. We haven't lost anything, we have gained a lot."

MasterChef 2025 champion Sezer Dirican was born in Amasya in 1995. Having worked in professional kitchens for a long time, Sezer drew attention with his performance throughout the competition and was among the ambitious names of the contest, having received the 'spoon' twice.
