Tuna Kiremitçi was born on February 24, 1973, in Eskişehir. He was born in Eskişehir as the child of a family of Filibe origin. He began music in the school orchestra while boarding at Galatasaray High School. He formed his first professional group, Kumdan Kaleler, with his friends at school, and the album "Denize Doğru," for which he wrote most of the lyrics and music, was released in 1996 under the Ada Müzik label.
