As part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command recently carried out operations at the addresses of several famous figures.
Within the scope of the investigation, Aleyna Tilki, İrem Sak, Danla Bilic, and Mümine Senna Yıldız were taken into custody. Arrest warrants were issued for Şeyma Subaşı, Şevval Şahin, and Mert Vidinli, who were determined to be abroad.
While those taken into custody were later released, Şevval Şahin, who has an arrest warrant against her, made a statement on her social media account. Şahin included the following expressions in her post:
"I came to England, the country where I grew up, at the beginning of the week for my mother's house-moving affairs and family matters. I am just seeing the news about me.
I intend to complete my business here, return to my country, and make the necessary statements and initiatives."
However, a different detail regarding the matter has come to the agenda.
According to the report by Mehmet Çalışkan from Habertürk, Şevval Şahin was expected to be a jury member in the Miss Turkey pageant scheduled to take place on Saturday evening.
It was learned that Şahin, who was Miss Turkey 2018 and was stated to be in the jury seat for this year's Miss Turkey final, did not attend the competition due to the arrest warrant issued against her.
