Last month, the breakfast plate that Çağla Şıkel shared on Instagram sparked widespread reaction on social media. The 46-year-old model's plate contained raw nuts and five pills. While this unusual breakfast was considered normal by some followers, it was found unhealthy by others.
In response to the criticisms, Çağla Şıkel stated, 'Comments were made as if I had eaten frog legs. Since I don't wake up hungry, I have meals like this with nuts. I have my vitamins every morning, and I use them. I shared it naturally; I didn't share it to cause a scene. It's a matter of balance. Like balancing food.'
Alişan, who worked with Şıkel on the series 'Cennet Mahallesi', responded humorously to her breakfast post: 'On the set of Cennet Mahallesi, Çağla and I used to eat 10 lahmacuns together. She was eating incredibly, but she was exercising. She needs to take care of herself. She is right, too.'
Alişan, stating that Şıkel is still one of Turkey's best models, said, 'When she drifted away from me, they got her used to capsules; she is feeding on pills.'
Çağla Şıkel and Alişan played the characters 'Sultan' and 'Ferhat' respectively in the series 'Cennet Mahallesi', which aired between 2004 and 2007.
