The posts claimed that group members were subjected to harsh conditions on various issues ranging from income distribution to their private lives.
CONTRACT CLAUSES SPARKED DEBATE
According to the allegations circulating on social media;
It was claimed that 30 percent of the revenue is left to the group members, while 70 percent goes to manager Tolga Akış,
That stage expenses and costume costs are covered by the members' income,
That group members cannot meet with boyfriends without the manager's approval,
That they are prohibited from posting advertisements on their personal social media accounts for 10 years,
And that members who want to leave the group are required to pay a compensation of 45 million 800 thousand TL per person.
WRITTEN STATEMENT FROM MANIFEST
Following the spread of the allegations on social media, a written statement regarding the matter was published by Manifest.
The statement included the following expressions:
“It is clearly evident that the content circulated under the heading 'Manifest Contract Terms' does not reflect the truth and consists entirely of baseless and fabricated claims. The false information provided is misleading to the public. Necessary legal processes have been initiated regarding such untruthful content aimed at damaging the commercial reputation and personal rights of our artists and our producer.”
STATEMENT ALSO CAME FROM TOLGA AKIŞ
A statement regarding the issue also came from producer Tolga Akış. Sharing on his social media account, Akış stated that the clauses that came to the agenda were completely fabricated.
Akış's statement is as follows:
“The news circulating on social media under the name 'Manifest contract terms' consists of completely fabricated clauses, likely written by someone for fun, and naturally, it does not reflect the truth. Necessary legal actions have been initiated by us.”
