The final interview of beloved arabesque music star Güllü before her passing has become a trending topic

Güllü (Gül Tut), one of the powerful voices of Arabesque music, has passed away at the age of 51. Her son, Tuğberk Yavuz, stated in a post on his social media account regarding the famous artist who lost her life after falling from the balcony of her home in Yalova: "We have lost my mother, the valuable artist Güllü, as a result of a tragic accident that occurred tonight. The suicide reports published on social media are unfounded." Yavuz also stated that he would share updates regarding the funeral and expressed his condolences.

THE INTERVIEW THAT BECAME A TRENDING TOPIC FOLLOWING GÜLLÜ'S DEATH

Following Güllü's sudden passing, an interview she gave years ago has become a trending topic once again. At the beginning of 2023, regarding the family of Ferdi Tayfur falling out over inheritance, the singer had said the following:

"I also have two children and a grandchild. I also have children. If things are going to be like this when I die, may God have mercy on me. I have never had anything to do with money or property."

The singer had also stated that if her life were to be made into a film, "I would very much like Serenay Sarıkaya to be in the lead role. Her stance and nobility are something else entirely."

Different claims have emerged regarding Güllü's death. The singer's assistant, connecting by phone to the magazine program 'Gel Konuşalım', claimed that Güllü lost her balance and fell from the window while dancing to Roman music with her daughter on the terrace of her 5th-floor apartment. The assistant categorically denied the suicide claims, stating, "We will bury Güllü in Tuzla tomorrow."

In a written statement made by the Yalova Governor's Office, it was said, "Upon arriving at the address, it was understood that Gül Tut, known as the artist 'Güllü', fell from the window while having fun with her daughter and her daughter's friend at her residence, and that the individual had lost her life according to the check performed by the medical team. An investigation has been initiated into the matter by our Çınarcık District Police Department."
