The series Aşk-ı Memnu, adapted from Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil’s work of the same name, first aired in 2008.

The series, which ran for 2 seasons, wrote its name in golden letters in the history of Turkish television, and the locations where it was filmed became cult classics.

AUNT ARSEN'S FARM IS FOR SALE FOR 195 MILLION LIRA

While the main filming for the series took place at the mansion on Piyasa Street in Istanbul's Sarıyer district, one of the most famous locations throughout the series was the massive farm belonging to the character Aunt Arsen.

According to the report by Edanur Aktürk Akyol from Patronlar Dünyası; the massive farm, established on a 10,665 m2 area in the Ovayenice neighborhood of Istanbul's Çatalca district, has been put up for sale for 195 million lira.

THE 23-ROOM FARM FEATURES A TURKISH BATH, SAUNA, AND OUTDOOR POOL

The farm, which is entirely single-story with a total of 1,800 m2 of indoor space, also has a sea view. The property owner states in the listing that only the house is for sale for 135 million TL and provides the following information:

“If desired, the adjacent 43,302 m2 plot to the south can also be added to the facility. Thus, a total area of 53,967 m2 can be acquired.”

The massive farm, including both the greenery and the residence, is for sale for a total of 195 million TL.

The existing structure was designed as a farmhouse by Architect Altan Denizel in 1989 and its construction was carried out by Dikran Masis. Used as a farmhouse until 2005, the structure was later converted into a 23-room boutique hotel over time.

The farm also includes 6 staff rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, 1 management office

2 pantries, a (+4) degree cold storage room, a laundry room (designed as a winery),
