The sudden death of Volkan Konak has plunged the art world into mourning! 'You can't just leave like this!'

Volkan Konak, one of the greatest names in recent folk music with his unique style, songs he performed while occasionally reciting poetry, his compositions, and his voice, passed away after suffering a crisis on stage during a concert he was giving in the TRNC.

The first intervention for Konak, who fell ill and collapsed on stage, was performed at the concert venue. The concert was interrupted as soon as Konak became ill on stage. While waiting for an ambulance, CPR was performed on the artist, who had fallen to the ground on stage while the concert was ongoing. The artist, who was taken to Gazimağusa State Hospital, passed away.

The TRNC Ministry of Health announced the famous artist's passing with the following statement:

"Artist Volkan Konak, who was admitted to Mağusa State Hospital at 00:17 due to suddenly falling ill tonight, unfortunately passed away at 00:42 despite all interventions."
