Social media influencer Gizem Bağdaçiçek was detained yesterday by teams from the Istanbul Public Security Branch Office, Morality Bureau, following complaints regarding a video she shared on social media. The statement given by Gizem Bağdaçiçek, who was released after her testimony at the Anadolu Courthouse, has been revealed.

"I SHARED MY IMAGES WITH MY 160 FOLLOWERS"

Bağdaçiçek stated, "I am the owner of the account with the username 'avokadoyeşilii1' on the Twitter (X) social media platform. I occasionally make posts about my daily life from this account. Sometimes these posts include images of me in my underwear or while exercising. About 6 months ago, I opened an account on a social media platform. This is a platform where users use their identity information to become paid members and follow account holders only by paying a fee. This platform does not accept users under the age of 18. I had shared my pornographic images with approximately 160 followers on this platform."

"I AM THE VICTIM OF THIS INCIDENT, I DO NOT ACCEPT THE ACCUSATIONS"

Bağdaçiçek continued her statement as follows:

"The nude and pornographic images you have shown me belong to me. However, I had only shared these images with my 160 followers. The platform where I made the posts does not allow the images to be saved, or even for screenshots to be taken. These images were leaked to social media via fake accounts by people I do not know, who recorded them with another phone. I have not made any posts since the social media platform was banned in Turkey. The images published on the X platform without my knowledge and consent are old. My lawyer will file a criminal complaint regarding the dissemination of these images. I am the victim of this incident. I do not accept the accusations."
