Sad news has arrived from Grup Laçin, one of the legendary bands of the 90s, remembered for their song titled 'Bekar Gezelim'.
Grup Laçin member and accordion artist Şerif Baldemir has lost his life.
It was learned that Baldemir had been receiving treatment in intensive care for 2.5 months, and the news of his death was announced by fellow band member Serkan Çağrı.
In his post, Çağrı stated, "Our painful loss! We have lost my dear older brother, accordion artist Şerif Baldemir, a member of Grup Laçin, with whom I was part of for many years. Unfortunately, he lost his battle for life, which he had been fighting in intensive care for about 2.5 months. Our condolences. His funeral will be held today (March 17, 2024) after the noon prayer at the Balçova Eyüp Sabri Mosque. This is announced to all his friends and loved ones."
