In his post following Volkan Konak's passing, Ahmet Mehmetalioğlu drew significant backlash by stating, 'He croaked on stage. Now they will ask us; how did you know him? This is our answer. RESPONSE FROM GÜLBEN ERGEN
Gülben Ergen, a well-known figure in the art world, harshly criticized the expressions used by the mufti in a statement she made on her social media account.
Ergen said the following in her post:
'On this sad holiday, where a mufti says a deceased artist has 'croaked,' I wish ease to our listeners who come to have fun and hold onto life, and to all my colleagues who try to entertain them.'
