Halil Ergün's Digiturk protest: 'They won't cancel my membership, I don't want to watch Digiturk, which belongs to the Qataris'
TV and film actor Halil Ergün lashed out at the digital television broadcasting platform Digiturk. Ergün expressed his frustration, saying, "I have been trying to terminate my membership for a month. However, my request is not being fulfilled. I do not want to watch Digiturk, which belongs to the Qataris."

Master actor Halil Ergün, who is preparing to return to the screen with the series 'Güzel Atlar Diyarı', announced that he has been having problems with the digital television broadcasting platform Digiturk for some time.
Speaking to Arif Hür from 12punto, Ergün said, "I have been experiencing a major problem for a while. I want to leave Digiturk, which I have been a subscriber to for 20 years. The people I spoke to at customer service have been stalling me for a month, claiming that something is missing from my ID card."

Continuing his remarks, the master actor stated, "I am not asking for my membership to be canceled because of a few pennies. I am just someone who follows news channels.
This institution already belongs to the Qataris. I do not want to watch Digiturk, which belongs to the Qataris."
WHO IS HALİL ERGÜN?
Halil Ergün was born on September 8, 1946, in the İznik district of Bursa. He studied at the Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences.
He became a professional with the play 'Teneke' at the Halk Oyuncuları theater. He founded the Ankara Birlik Theater with Vasıf Öngören, Mustafa Alabora, and Erdoğan Akduman.
He was a mayoral candidate for Beyoğlu on behalf of the SHP in the 1994 Turkish local elections and again for the CHP in the 1999 local elections, but was not elected.
He has starred in projects such as Yaprak Dökümü, Baba Evi, Küçük Ağa, Mum Kokulu Kadınlar, Yol, Kırlangıç Fırtınası, and Yorgun Savaşçı.
