Zafer Algöz, who previously reacted to parking fees at Istanbul Airport in March, has now complained about the excessively high cost of holidays. Algöz stated that business owners need to come together and evaluate their pricing policies.
'THEY NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER'
Zafer Algöz said, 'Business owners in holiday resorts say the season is short. However, if prices are this high, a shortened season is inevitable. Even foreign tourists are saying that Turkey is expensive. Business owners need to ask themselves, "Where are we going wrong?" and get their act together.'
Algöz also expressed that paying high fees just to enter the sea is unacceptable. 'Why should I pay money to swim in the sea in a country surrounded by seas on three sides?' he remarked.
