Tamer Karadağlı, an actor appointed as General Manager of State Theaters by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, visited the Haşim İşcan Culture Center, which is used jointly by the Antalya State Opera and Ballet and the Antalya State Theater, and criticized the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality due to the lack of maintenance in the building.

Criticizing the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality for the building's lack of maintenance, the actor said, "A disgrace! Nothing has been done. It is truly a source of shame, I cannot believe it. The building is in a terrible state, as if it has just come out of a war. Does the municipality not see these?"

WHAT HAPPENED?
The Haşim İşcan Culture Center, which Karadağlı criticized, was built in 2003 on land owned by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality.
The building was transferred to the Central Directorate of Revolving Fund Enterprises in 2006 and was opened in December of the same year to be used jointly by the Antalya State Opera and Ballet and the Antalya State Theater.
