29-year-old TikTok phenomenon Eva Evans has passed away. The sad news regarding Evans was announced by her sister Lila Joy in a post on her social media account.
Sharing a photo, Joy stated, "Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, and hilarious sister Eva has died. After 24 hours, I still find myself in a cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how unbelievable and difficult this news will be to process."
According to a statement made by law enforcement sources to TMZ on April 23, the TikTok star was found in her apartment on Saturday evening by a friend who had a key to the unit. It was reported that Evans' friend told police they were unaware she was struggling with her mental health and that a note was left behind.
Eva Evans' sister Lila said the following:
"I wish I could have Eva here now because she would have better words and would know how to say what I can't. I am keeping this brief so we can make plans for the next few days, but you will hear much more from me about how much Eva meant to me and how different the world will be without her."
