How much do software developers earn in Turkey in 2024?

The 2024 results of the "Software Developer Salaries" survey, conducted by “Önceki Yazılımcı”—which was created as a parody in 2012 and has since become one of the prominent accounts in the software industry—were shared today. The survey showed how much, on average, software developers who receive their salaries in Turkish Lira earn per month in Turkey.

According to the report by Emirhan Keleşoğlu from Webtekno, this survey, which provides insights for many people who are considering or aiming to become software developers in the future, also highlighted the highest-paying positions. A total of 5,989 Turkish software developers participated in this survey, which also revealed the gender imbalance in the software sector. Of those who responded to the survey, 5,288 were men and 701 were women.
