Singer İrem Derici, who has been in a happy relationship with Melih Kunukçu, got engaged in a simple ceremony.

The famous couple met with reporters before the engagement and made statements.

İrem Derici expressed her feelings with the words, "My heart beats beyond me, more than for me."

Melih Kunukçu said, "The engagement was postponed, but I guess it was for the best."

Touching on the postponement of the engagement, Derici said, "It was not a postponement made by choice. With a dawn operation at 6 AM... They didn't take us today, thank God a thousand times over," she stated.
