Whether Haydar Mursaloğlu, who is from the family of Tayfur Sökmen, the first and only President of Hatay, and his wife Merve Mursaloğlu are alive has been a subject of concern.

Ada Mursaloğlu's grandmother, Nadire Kıt, claimed that she saw a photo of a small child on a soldier's shoulder and that the person in the photo was her granddaughter, Ada.

WHO IS HAYDAR MURSALOĞLU?
Haydar Mursaloğlu is a member of the family of Tayfur Sökmen, the first and only President of Hatay. Known as the most deep-rooted family in Hatay, the Mursaloğlu family took the surname Sökmen after the Surname Law was enacted. It is even claimed that this surname was given to the family by Atatürk himself. However, they have achieved such fame in the province of Hatay that everyone knows them not as Sökmen, but as the Mursaloğulları.
