The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM) shared the air traffic statistics for the 'March 25-31, 2024' period, which were included in EUROCONTROL's European Aviation Overview Report published yesterday, on its official website.
According to air traffic data, Turkey ranked 6th among countries with the highest traffic volume in Europe, with an average of 2,603 daily flights.
Istanbul Airport, Turkey's gateway to the world, became the busiest airport in Europe with an average of 1,328 daily flights.
