Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau meet for dinner

American singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were spotted having a private dinner at the famous Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.

In a video published by the Daily Mail, the two are seen leaning toward each other at the table, engaged in an intimate conversation. Moments of Perry speaking with lively gestures while Trudeau listens intently were captured on camera.

Both individuals have experienced significant changes recently. Justin Trudeau announced in January that he was stepping down as Prime Minister of Canada. Katy Perry, meanwhile, has been in the spotlight with her album '143', released after her split from actor Orlando Bloom.

Before dinner, the pair spent time walking in a park and later had drinks on the terrace at a venue called Taverne Atlantic. Perry's black-and-white dress and Trudeau's navy blue shirt and dress pants drew attention.

In his resignation speech, Trudeau had said, "I have told my children about this decision, and today I am sharing it with you: I am stepping down as party leader and Prime Minister." Trudeau, who has taken a break from his political career, announced last year that he was separating from his wife of 18 years, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau. The couple, who have three children, were known for many years as one of Canada's most prominent political figures.
