Kubilay Aka and Hafsanur Sancaktutan take the first step toward marriage

When asked in a recent program which trait of his girlfriend Hafsanur Sancaktutan he would like to change, Kubilay Aka jokingly replied, "Her last name." This statement was interpreted as a sign that the couple was moving toward marriage. The expected step has now been taken, as Aka proposed to Sancaktutan. Sancaktutan accepted the proposal and said "Yes."

The relationship between Kubilay Aka and Hafsanur Sancaktutan began last summer. Aka, who plays the character "Cihan" in the series "İnci Taneleri," shared the story of how they met on a YouTube program: "We met 5-6 years ago while working together on a commercial. There was nothing between us back then. Since we were in the same agency, we would run into each other at events, but we didn't look at each other in a different way."

Aka described the beginning of their relationship as follows: "Then I started looking at her that way. I could say I won her over. At first, she didn't want to, and I put in a lot of effort. She was aware of the 'playboy' image attached to me, which could have created a fear regarding trust, but we overcame these. For the last year, we have been expressing ourselves to each other very well."

Kubilay Aka's statement about wanting to "change her last name" was interpreted by many as a marriage proposal, and those interpretations turned out to be correct. The couple has taken their relationship a step further, taking the first step toward marriage.
