La Casa de Papel star joins 'Mehmed: Sultan of Conquest'

Luka Peros, who played the character 'Marseille' in the globally acclaimed Netflix crime thriller series 'La Casa de Papel', has joined the cast of 'Mehmed: Sultan of Conquest', which airs on TRT 1, as a guest actor.

Luka Peros, who had previously visited Turkey for vacation, met with the lead actor of 'Mehmed: Sultan of Conquest', Serkan Çayoğlu, for dinner last night.

Answering questions from reporters as they left, Çayoğlu said, "We are very excited; we might not share many scenes on set, but we will be together constantly. It is wonderful for us to work with world-class actors. Let's see, we are excited; we left the season finale in such a place. Next year will be an exciting and intense season. This time we will start in the heat; a difficult task awaits us."

Peros also stated that he will bring the siege master Giovanni Giustiniani to life in the series.
