Levent İnanır responds to allegations of violence against Neslihan Acar

Stating that Kadir İnanır had no children of his own, Levent İnanır said, 'He took me in when I was 11 years old. He asked my mother, saying, "Let me raise Levent, let him grow up by my side, let him be like my own child." He raised me and put me through school. We lived together in the same house until I was 23,' he stated.

Regarding the debate over 'Why does he use the surname İnanır?', İnanır stated that Kadir İnanır himself had asked him to use the surname, adding, 'He taught me many things I know about life. He was the one who wanted me to use the surname İnanır. I have carried this surname with pride for years and will continue to carry it until the end of my life,' he said.

Levent İnanır also made statements regarding Kadir İnanır's health, reacting to the use of the term 'unconscious.' İnanır noted that during his uncle's severe illness, his consciousness was affected at times, that he had suffered three blood clots to the brain, and that they had experienced difficult days during the period when he was on heavy medication.

Levent İnanır also recounted an incident to illustrate the severity of the process they went through, where one night his uncle asked the nurses for his suit, saying he had to go to a gala.

'Kadir İnanır is not just my uncle to me'

Emphasizing that Kadir İnanır is not just his uncle, Levent İnanır said, 'He is the person who raised me, trained me, and holds a very special place in my life.'

At the end of his statement, İnanır noted that there is a legal process ahead and expressed his wish for the process to proceed in a 'fair, sensible, and just manner.' "Due to the news about me and the allegations reflected in the public eye for days, I would like to clarify some issues.

First of all, I absolutely do not accept the allegation that I committed violence against my ex-wife. I did not commit the violence in question. Unfortunately, explaining to you here who the person who committed it is would also hurt and upset me, so I will not explain here who the person who committed that unwanted violence is. But I would like to repeat that I absolutely did not commit that violence.

If Ms. Neslihan wishes to make a statement regarding what happened in the future of her own volition, this is entirely a decision she will make.
