Reid Hoffman has predicted that the traditional 9-to-5 work schedule will disappear by 2034. In a new video statement, he expressed that artificial intelligence is significantly impacting the current workforce and bringing an end to traditional work patterns.

Hoffman stated that in the future, the majority of the workforce will not remain in traditional forms of employment, but will instead transition to a freelance (gig economy) model. This means that individuals will be able to work on a contract basis with companies across various sectors.

HOFFMAN'S FAMOUS PREDICTIONS

He emphasized that while the freelance model offers more flexibility and a variety of options compared to traditional job positions, it could also bring less job security.

Hoffman had predicted the social media, sharing economy, and artificial intelligence revolutions years before the emergence of ChatGPT. He sold LinkedIn for 26 billion dollars, was also one of the early investors in Airbnb, and had previously spoken about the future impacts of artificial intelligence.
