Upon the request of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the Ankara Duty Criminal Judgeship of Peace imposed an access ban on the song "Perperişan" on the grounds that it is "contrary to public order and family structure." Following this decision, Mabel Matiz released a statement on social media, drawing attention to the essence of art and stating that his songs were intentionally misunderstood.

Matiz stated that his song tells a love story filled with metaphors fed by the tradition of folk literature. He emphasized that the phrase "toy bebe" means "a raw soul that has not learned its lessons from life" and that the appeal of art lies in everyone being able to find their own meaning.

The artist stated that the images in his song are a natural part of daily life, citing the example that "a bird is a creature that both builds a nest and flies to the sky."

Criticizing the focus of the agenda on a song, Mabel Matiz said, "While we have real problems such as abundance at the table, safety on the streets, and honesty in people, discussions continue over my song lyrics. These perception operations are malicious to an extent that no person with common sense could comprehend."

Finally, stating that his song does not have an effect that would disrupt social order, Matiz used the expressions, "I want to believe that our public order and general health are not so fragile as to be shaken by a song. I embrace all my fans whose minds and hearts have been hurt during this process with all my heart."
